A Monday night gathering of Salesian Companions.

Visitation Companions are individuals who choose to commit to a more intentional study of Salesian Spirituality to nourish and deepen their personal spiritual journey. They also participate in the ministry of the Monastery when they are able.

A formation period includes meeting monthly with a companion mentor, reading from and praying with the writings of St. Francis de Sales, St. Jane de Chantal and Salesian scholars. Joining other Companions and the sisters in various activities, a commitment ceremony celebrates the completion of formation.

Currently, women and men of diverse ages and faith traditions from all over the Twin Cities are Companions. They meet at The Jane House on the 3rd Sunday evening of the month. Many also participate at the 2nd Monday Night gatherings.

At our May 10th, 2010 companion get together, we celebrated a special 400th anniversary of the Visitation.
