On Sunday, May 22, 2011, a tornado ripped through North Minneapolis. The Visitation Monastery and St. Jane Houses were fortunate to be left unscathed. However, many homes were destroyed and lives were uprooted by the magnitude of this storm. These photos capture just some of the devastation done to the terrain.
