It is with great pleasure and much enthusiasm that I welcome you to this page and invite you to peruse the site, reflecting and engaging with the Visitation Sisters vis-à-vis this medium. It is our hope to create a larger awareness around our community and charism, and invite further membership and participation by all of you. On this Feast Day of our co-founder, St. Francis de Sales, we launch the new website, and celebrate the mission and vision he and St. Jane de Chantal gave us: LIVE+JESUS!
As a Visitation Companion, or committed lay member of the Vis Sisters, I have the awesome privilege of helping launch this website, contributing as contemplative writer and avid blogger. In the days, weeks, and months to come, I will be posting reflections here, alongside the Visitation Sisters themselves, and members of our larger community. We encourage and welcome your responses and participation here. We invite you to come and be among us at our monastery in the rich and diverse community that is north Minneapolis! All are welcome!
